The Port of Cromarty Firth played a pivotal role as the intermediary port for the Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm, one of Scotland’s largest wind energy projects. The Port provided extensive marshalling and assembly services, handling key components such as wind turbine substructures and blades.

With our deepwater quays and vast storage areas, the Port was critical in ensuring the seamless delivery and assembly of these components, supporting the installation of 84 wind turbines in the Outer Moray Firth. The success of this project not only demonstrated the Port’s capability to manage large offshore wind projects but also cemented our position as a leader in renewable energy logistics​.
