Port of Cromarty Firth completed a hat trick of wins at the Maritime UK Awards 2022 held at the Glasgow Science Centre on Thursday 10th March.
The Port received the accolade of winning the Coastal Powerhouse award for a record-breaking third time in a row.
The awards recognise the very best of the UK’s maritime sector. They are awarded to individuals and businesses, charities, colleges and universities, for achievements across a range of areas, including business growth, innovation, sustainability and diversity.
Celebrating the win, Port of Cromarty Firth’s Strategic Business Development Manager, Joanne Allday, said:
“This is an amazing achievement, and we’re delighted to have been chosen as the Maritime UK awards Coastal Powerhouse for the third time in a row.
Thank you to the Maritime UK judges, and to the sponsors, The National Shipbuilding Office.
It is a fitting reward for all the hard work that the team has and continues to put in working towards securing a sustainable pipeline of work that if successful will have a big impact on the Port and the region securing sustainable work for future generations.”
